I'll tell you about an accident happened with my godfather Andrew two weeks ago. He dreamed of buying a new car and recently fulfilled the dream. Two days after Andrew and his family went to country house to celebrate his wife's birthday. They came in the early morning to prepare to the arrival of guests. Andrew discovered that he forgot keys. So his wife and children stayed in the yard and uncle Andrew drove back home to take the keys. He was returning home when suddenly the car in front of him braked sharply. He slammed on his brakes and avoided hitting, but then he heard screeching noise. A car behind him crashed into his car and he crashed into the car in front of him. His car got broken from both sides. Fortunately my godfather is fine, but the party was spoiled.
On September, 7 at 16:03 the plane Yak-42 crashed. The hockey team "Lokomotive" was on the board of the plane 44 people died. The belarusian player Ruslan Saley was anong them. This awful avia catastrophe horrified people all over the world... Special for me :(
On October, 17 hurricane Gonzalo made a direct hit on Bermuda Island. It was a strong Category 2 storm, knocking down trees, damaging a hospital and cutting power to most of the island's residents. The speed of wind was up to 175 km per hour. It was the strongest storm Bermuda has faced for many years.
