  3. Hello, my name is Slava. I'm an average reader. I read books, TV guides, information on the Internet and other. I usually read for doing homework and for pleasure. I enjoy reading detective and humour stories, adventure and historical books. Detective stories and adventure booksare exciting, they show how people and criminals behave in different situations. Historical books are interesting for me because they show people's life in old times. Humour stories are amuzing, they help me to relax. As I study English, I try to read books writing by English and American writes. Last summer I read 'Legends of Robin Hood'. I liked them because they told me about brave and clever people and their adventures. But my favourite book is 'The adventures of Tom Sawyer' by Mark Twain. It’s an exciting story about the adventures of American boy and his friends. Tom was a naughty but very curious boy. His adventures sometimes make me laugh. Mark Twain is my favourite writer. He wrote this book in 1876 but it’s still popular among children now. I don't like read poetries and romantic books because they are boring and not attractive for me. As for me I think that reading books develops my personality and intellect, helps me be a success at school.

  4. I think I'm an average kind of reader, becauce I read not very often. I am very busy with my lessons. Nevertheless when I have free time I prefer horror books. In past I read "50 days before my suicide" becauce my friend advised me. My favourite genre is a thrilling, becauce it's touching & interesting. I don't know why, may be, becauce I like to be involved in the fate of the hero of the book. I haven't got a favourite book & writer. I don't like romantik books, becauce they are very a like & too sweet.
    >What role do books play in you life? - A great role. I get to know a lot of interresting & important things. Books make me educated and well- informed. And by the way, paper books smell so nice. (//ω//)

  5. I love reading. I am not a bookworm, but a good reader. Mostly I read school books and information in the Internet for getting good marks. Also I read some stories for relaxation. Sometimes I read novels, but I prefer not very large stories. I prefer fantasy books, because they are full of adventures and mysteries. But now I started a book of detective genre which actually turned out really exciting for me. I don't mind all other genres, but I don't like love stories, because they are too predictable and all of them are similar. But maybe I just not understand them. So I like fiction literature. Unfortunately lately most of the books that teacher asks us to read on literature lessons are not interesting for me. I've got many favourite books. Now it's Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. I haven't read it yet, so I can't name the best one. Unlike most readers I read my e-book. I like smell of paper books, but I don't like to spend my time for buying books and visiting library. However, before I got my e-book I was visiting library often and I still have a little library in my room. Most of this books are fantasy books or encyclopedias. Actually, when I was younger I was crazy about different encyclopedias. So I still prefer informative books to touching stories. Sometimes I read some scientific literature about psychology.

  6. I am a good reader, I think. Books play an important role in my life. Some of them teach me (not only school books), some make me laugh or cry, some I read just for my mind and soul. I like fiction as well as non-fiction. I don't know what's better - Romeo and Juliet or Profession: witch. However, I prefer diaries, adventure stories and kinds of fairy tales. I like them for learning. Even the story about an ugly duckling teaches us to hope and be happy. My favourite book (no, one of my favourite books) is Gymnasium N 13. This is an adventure story about five friends who stuck in a magic school. By the way, the author of this book is my favourite writer. His name is Andrew Zhvalevsky. He is belorussian and he writes books in russian with his wife, Yevgenia Pasternak.
I don't like reading books about war, because if I start reading this book, it means that I won't sleep at night, as I will cry ;(
As I said, books are very important. Reading makes people think broadly, use their imagination and believe in magic :]
