People started to divide rubbish into glass, plastic, BIO, paper. We can give a new life to old things. This is the right way to save the nature. We don’t deplete natural resources. The most important thing while recycling rubbish is that we prevent a lot of toxic blowout into the atmosphere and this doesn’t destroy the ozone layer. If we recycle paper we save large areas of forests. There is a big Green box on our bus stop and we gather old magazines & newspapers for a while and than we bright them to this place. I believe that our contribution will be significant. Besides we gather glass bottles separately from plastic bottles.
To begin with, I’d like to tell you that recycling is a very important thing nowadays. Recycling is a process to convert waste materials into new products. We do it in order to prevent waste of potentially useful materials, reduce the consumption of fresh raw materials, reduce using of energy, reduce air and water pollution. Recycling is a key component of modern waste reduction and is the third component of the "Reduce, Reuse and Recycle".
Today there are many places in Minsk where you can bring something for recycling. The government offers special containers with three departments. They are for paper, plastic and glass.We should remember that they can be recycled. It decreases pollution and make our native city cleaner and nicer place to live in. I'm sure that recycling can really help to protect the enviroment. There are a lot of simple things we can do at home to help it. As for my family, we try to do some useful things with our rubbish.We reuse plastic bags, glass jars. We always collect old paper, newspapers and magazines and then bring them to special containers for waste paper.
All over the world people have a lot of problems with rubbish. So they try to reduce it. Many countries have some recycling schemes. In Minsk we have them too. For example you can see recycling bins for paper, glass and plastic. It means that we must put into it rubbish, which is connected with paper, glass or plastic. In my family we reuse plastic bags and glass jars. Moreover we collect waste paper and then put it into bins for paper. As for me recycling is important, because it helps to reduce rubbish. When it decomposes, it produces toxins, which destroy the ozone layer. Also rubbish produces obnoxious smell. That's why we must reduce rubbish!
